If you are feeling nervous, take a few deep breaths to curb your wandering thoughts. This technique is used for cleanses nadis or channels in the body. It is said that by pranayama our 72,000 nadis got purified by it. Pranayam improves autonomic functions.

Process:-
Sit in a comfortable position, letting loose your arms and legs as well as neck and shoulders. Keeping your mouth closed, inhale deeply without making a hissing sound from your nose until your lungs are completely filled with air. In this process, bulge your stomach out to give full space to the lungs. Now let the air remain in for a little while. Then exhale slowly through your nose until all of the air is expelled and your lungs are completely empty. This process is called pranayam, Prana means the vital energy hidden in breath and ayam means infinite expansion. Pranayam means to breathe with the whole, To breathe with the whole, to become the breathe of the internal and the whole is pranayama.
